GaméDex (“we”) is a pocket game bible app. This policy covers the waitlist site and the soft-launch app.
What we collect
- Account: email (if you use email sign-in), username, display name, optional bio.
- Steam: SteamID64, persona name, avatar, owned-game list and achievement unlocks you choose to sync — only when you sign in with Steam or link Steam, and only if your Steam profile visibility allows it.
- Library & usage: games you save, hours/ratings you enter, guides and builds you post, reports you file.
- Waitlist: email, platform preferences, interest tags, optional free-text about games you care about.
- Device: basic crash and performance data if we enable an error reporter later; purchase receipts via Apple/Google/RevenueCat when Pro is live.
How we use it
- Provide the product (accounts, library sync, guides, Steam sync).
- Operate the waitlist and soft-launch invites.
- Moderate spam and abuse.
- Improve catalogue coverage and reliability.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We use processors such as Supabase (database/auth), Steam (when you connect), and store billing providers when Pro purchases are enabled. Affiliate store links may include tracking parameters required by those partners.
Retention
We keep account and library data while your account is active. Waitlist emails are kept until launch messaging finishes or you ask to be removed. You can request deletion by emailing support@gamedex.app.
